Ting Hua
Ting Hua is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. Her advisor is Chang-Tien Lu. Hua works at the Spatial Data Management Lab and
her research interests include machine learning, data mining, and artificial intelligence.
Hua's goal is to predict what has triggered occurrences in the past and what will happen in the future through tracking and monitoring of social media data. In particular, she is focusing on developing text mining technologies such as graphical models for social media streams.
