Shafkat Farabi
Shafkat Farabi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. His advisor is Sanmay Das.
His research focuses on building reinforcement learning agents for scarce resource allocation, preferably in an online setting. Currently, he is working on adapting and applying multi-armed-bandits class of algorithms for solving real world resource allocation problems. Previously, he has worked on designing sentiment classifiers using large language models (LLMs).
