Mohannad Elhamod
Mohannad Elhamod is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. He is advised by Anuj Karpatne.
Elhamod's research interest is in machine learning in general, and science-guided machine learning specifically. He is trying to understand how domain-specific knowledge can help improve ML models and especially curious about developing and employing visualization tools for ML interpretability. His projects are multidisciplinary and span a variety of scientific domains, including physics and biology.
