Tran Chau

Tran Chau is a Ph.D. student in the Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology (GBCB) program.  She is advised by Song Li. 

Chau is specializing in foundation models and large language models for single-cell cross-species mapping, protein analysis, and microbiome research. Her broader goal is to develop computational methodologies that bridge species-specific genomic insights, integrate multi-omics data, and drive fundamental biological discoveries. She aims to create scalable AI-driven solutions to tackle complex biological challenges, advancing genomics, precision medicine, and agricultural biotechnology.
