Surendrabikram Thapa
Surendrabikram Thapa is a master's degree student in the Department of Computer Science. He is co-advised by Anuj Karpatne and Abhijit Sarkar. His research focus is multimodal learning, computer vision, and natural language processing applications.
Thapa is currently working on NSF-funded research to develop and test algorithms to recover Blood Volume Pulse (BVP) signals from face video and test their feasibility in biometric authentication. He is also working on various projects relating to driver safety with Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI).
