Shengwei An
Shengwei An is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and core faculty at the center.
His research focuses on the security and privacy of artificial intelligence (AI) systems, spanning both traditional and generative AI models. His interests include adversarial examples, backdoors, model inversion and membership inference attacks, and intellectual property protection.
He has published in top-tier venues such as IEEE S&P, USENIX Security, NDSS, CVPR, and AAAI.
An received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University.
