Thomas Lux
Thomas Lux was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. He was advised by Layne Watson.
Lux was also an NSF Research Trainee in the UrbComp program.
His research focuses on applied approximation, numerical analysis, and nonparametric statistics. He was part of the
VarSys
team that creates models to help understand and manage computational performance variability across the computer system stack.
