Tianyi Li
Tianyi Li was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. She was advised by Chris North and Kurt Luther, an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science.
Li's research interest is in crowdsourced sensemaking and visualization. She studies how to incite, acquire, and structure crowd wisdom to help experts make sense of the world's rapidly growing and dynamicly changing information.
She received her bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Hong Kong. Li also studied at the UC San Diego
as an exchange student.
