Ahmed Abdelhady
Ahmed Abdelhady is an undergraduate student in the Department of Computer Science advised by Hoda Eldardiry.
His resesarch is focused on building an LLM-focused script to extract clinical insights from maternal patient records, with the goal of expediting quality care for patients with pregnancy-related complications. Using various LLMs, he analyzes Emergency Department and inpatient discharge summaries from a dataset of patient records to identify concerning health conditions and classify their severity. This work supports improving risk assessment, reducing missed diagnoses and enhancing the communication of actionable and clinically meaningful information.
