Liangzhe Chen
Liangzhe Chen was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. His advisor was B. Aditya Prakash. His research interests lie in the area of data mining, more specifically in graph and temporal data sequence mining and their applications in social media, large networks, and epidemiology.
Chen has worked on the problem of latent health state modeling for twitter users and tweets classification and visualization for disaster control. He is currently interested problems related to dynamic graph mining, graph summary, and temporal data sequence mining. Chen is also broadly interested in other machine learning areas such as subspace clustering, bi-clustering, dynamic topic modeling, time series analysis, and reinforcement learning.
