Cho-Ting (Amanda) Lee was a master’s degree student in the Department of Computer Science. Her advisor was Naren Ramakrishnan. Her research interests are in data mining and machine learning, with a focus on trade data analytics and anomaly detection.

Meng Lu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Xuan Wang. His research interests lie in natural language processing (information extraction, knowledge graph construction, text classification); weakly-supervised/few-shot/zero-shot learning; generative artificial intelligence (personalization recommendation/forecasting for generative large language models; and artificial intelligence for sciences and healthcare (personalization of large language models).

Zihao Lin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Lifu Huang. Lin’s research interests lie primarily on natural language processing and multi-modal representation learning. His current topics are focused on analyzing the memory storing and recalling mechanism of large language models.

Zhenyu Bi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Xuan Wang. Bi’s primary research interests lie in the fields of natural language processing and data mining.  He is especially interested in information extraction and fact-checking under few-shot and zero-shot settings, as well as artificial intelligence for sciences.

Melike Yildiz Aktas is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  Her advisor is Chang-Tien Lu. Her research interests lie in urban computing, social networks, and humanitarian logistics.  She would like to contribute to the development of smart cities, playing an active role in their advancement.

Linhan Wang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Chang-Tien Lu. His research focuses on 3D computer vision, especially novel view synthesis.

Jiahao Xu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Chris North. Xu’s research focus lies in visual analytics and human-computer interaction.

Tuo Wang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Dawei Zhou. The focus of his research is on identification, quantification, and deprecation of uncertainty in deep learning models.
