Yusuf Dalva is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science.  He is advised by Pinar Yanardag. Dalva’s research interest is controllability aspect of visual diffusion models. He is focused on identifying and leveraging certain patterns on context representations of such models and making use of them in applications.

Humaid Desai was a master’s degree student in the Department of Computer Science.  His advisor was Hoda Eldardiry. Desai’s research focused on enhancing the efficiency and resource utilization of Federated Learning in resource-constrained and heterogeneous environments. This is achieved by addressing challenges related to resource-limited clients and communication within the federated learning-based system.  

Seonghun Park is a Ph.D. student in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.  He is advised by Manish Bansal. Park’s research is focused on distributionally robust stochastic programming and combinatorial optimization. His expertise also extends to data analysis, including computer vision, time-series analysis, and probabilistic graphical models.
