Walid Chaabene was a master’s student and graduate research assistant in the Department of Mathematics. His advisor was Bert Huang and he worked at the Machine Learning Lab. Chaabene’s research focuses on developing predictive machine-learning frameworks using model reduction and link prediction approaches for dynamical networks, with applications to the stock market and social networks.
