His main focus of research is large language models (LLMs). More specifically, he works on test time scaling, interpretability, and evaluation for LLMs.
Sharma is also part of GenomeRxiv at Virginia Tech where he works on making genomic based lineage and taxonomy data accessible and interpretable.
