Nikhitha Khasnavis
Nikhitha Khasnavis is a master's of engineering degree student in the Department of Computer Science. Her advisor is Naren Ramakrishnan.
Her research interests are in machine learning and artificial intelligence, particularly in developing data-driven methods to understand and solve complex real world problems.
She focuses on entity resolution and data quality improvement in large datasets and has developed TRACE, a machine learning pipeline that combines record linkage and clustering techniques to identify and resolve fragmented records, enabling more reliable large scale data analysis.
She is also especially interested in urban computing and the use of AI to analyze large scale systems and human centered data and is simultaneously pursing the National Science Foundation-sponsored graduate certificate in urban computing.
